I'd rather see Disc 2 over Disc 1, just because I've seen a lot more on Disc 1 already and those songs are more likely to be played again in the future. Finally seeing Plea live is going to kill me.
Say Anything needs to put out a live dvd or something. Searching youtube and there's barely any pro shot live videos. Actually surprised they never did a late night talk show before.
Weird, I could've sworn they played "Hate Everyone" on some late show but I can't find any evidence of it now. I distinctly remember the video too, haha.
Yeah you're right I think I remember them playing it on Conan but now I can't find the video anywhere.
I think both shows near me are already sold out lol I would've loved to catch both days tbh, tho I would be a little uncomfortable sitting through some of the songs on these albums.
disc 2 might have the better songs but disc 1 is more consistent also i've seen plea before (with kenny vasoli in the band as well) so i don't feel toooo bad for missing it
I really want to go to both dates, but also live like 2-3 hours from the nearest show and don't know if I can justify spending the money on tickets for both shows + a hotel.
Just went through setlists from Say Anything shows (lol it's a slow day), and realize the only songs on S/T I haven't seen are Fed to Death and Young, Dumb, and Stung, but hey it'll be cool to see it all the way through still! (Also realized I've seen all of Hebrews but Push & A Love too). I really do appreciate that Max changes the setlist up a good amount. There's no SA song where I feel like there's no chance I'll ever see it, and most shows I see something I haven't seen before (and not just new songs).
Yeah I just looked on reddit. They did Hate Everyone on Fallon and Shiksa on Conan. Can't find the videos anywhere though.
All of us like them to some extent. Vince was who I was talking about though (Vince and I actually have the most compatible tastes in the band).
Oh dang. Brett is actually the one who showed me the band, but based on things he's said past few years I assumed he didn't like them anymore.
I think he likes IARB more than he lets on, but he's def grown out of it over the years. Vince has has the cover of Folie A Deux tattooed on his arm... once I saw that I knew the two of us would get along lol.
Purchased! See y'all in Berkeley. Fingers crossed we get some amazing openers like The Hotelier or Foxing etc.
I'm dumb and accidentally bought two tickets for night 2 instead of one for each night. So I had to buy two for night 1 too. Hopefully I have a girlfriend still in January and she goes with me. Haha
17 Coked Up and Speeding is seriously one of SA's best songs. It's everything great about Max's songwriting. Really curious what the Riot Fest setlist will look like, since it's such a weird in between time for the band. I hope he changes it up from the Bayside tour. I'm also curious if he will do a lot of IDOTG since he may not be doing a Chicago show for the anniversary tour (unless he is still adding Chicago, which is definitely possible). 45 minutes is not enough time for them
