17 Coked Up and Speeding is one of Say Anything's best songs ever and the best song on that album. (I love Rum too though!)

 

Still a horrible song, ha.

 

Man it's been a while since I've heard songs off IARB and IARB disc 2. Max just sounds fantastic on that release

 

I always thought Plea had some weird Nightingale reference in the lyrics (king and queen). Also, I assumed Skinny Mean Man is probably about John Nolan considering Max dated his ex right? Also, I think the JL rumors on Vexed were just that. It wasn't a reference to him, but fans put that in their heads after Max started dating SD.

Also saw them in May of 2007, they premiered People Like You live at our show.

 

I like to think Vexed is about him tho
