So Karl Kuehn said on Reddit that Sherri sings onYour Father with him and Brianna Collins from Tiger Jaw sings on Pink Snot and Mouthbreather. I've curious to see if there was extra personnel. Max usually has some good guests on the album. UPDATED WITH KARL'S REPLY: Thank you! If my memory is correct the only ppl on this record are me, Max, Sherri, Brianna, Will, and Jon from Balance & Composure. Jon has a little distorted vocal call and response type thing on “it’s a process”
Well.. I am bummed to say that I am not really feeling this record much. I'm sure I am in the minority here but I prefer I Don't Think It Is by a lot.
Oof gotta love the romanticizing of poor mental health in music in favor of good music! Not like Chester Bennington, Chris Cornell, and countless others have taken their own lives while hundreds of thousands more are wishing they could or turning to substance abuse and accidentally taking their lives like Mac miller. Nah man it’s all about the music being dope!
I juuuust did a Baseball to IDTII run when Max announced the end of Say Anything. Baseball and the Dormroom Demos are full of so many gems that I nearly forgot about. It’s a damn good run of albums.
My wife loved Say Anything from Baseball until self titled. She actually kind of hates the s/t album now, but they were probably her favorite band until then. Anyways, I played this whole album for her the other day to see if she could enjoy it. She loved one song. “Send You Off.” Nothing more. Tough crowd, haha.
I guess I will be the only goob who waits until the actual release day (mostly because I am computerless).
I like this album better than IDTII and I actually liked IDTII. Captive Audience is my favourite and Sediment is a damn fine closer. Pretty gutted that he won't continue because seems like musically he is stable.
I’m sorry if I got your hopes up...seems like it got taken down. It’s not even in my viewed videos history anymore, so it’s definitely gone now. Damn.
They usually release some B-Sides also, I wonder if there will be any for this album, too. They can be pretty enjoyable.
