I mean, it would be a decent sounding song if he changed literally all the lyrics and re-recorded it in not his home studio with no electronica and just guitar, bass, and drums.
As a demo, I think it’s pretty interesting and hope that the finished product is a more fleshed out song with good production, and I hope to appreciate him giving us an early peek. Of course, if the song ends up sounding basically the same then I guess it’s whatever. But I always love seeing the process a an idea evolve into a song and the changes, even if it’s just the lyrics. Blink untitled has some cool BTS of Tom singing songs with totally different lyrics.
I actually dig the music, it feels like a darker S/T. The lyrics are... not for me, though the message seems to be a pretty pure one about gender dysmorphia.
Max is slowly becoming like Tom Delonge, someone so inconsistent that's really hard to believe anymore.
