I've smashed several plates.

 

Rolling through Self-Titled now. "She Won't Follow You" is such a blast, and "Cemetary" is almost certainly the best song Max ever wrote. The fact that "Property" follows it just makes that song even more perplexing.

 

Yes and yes, love Cemetery to death (as well as the Secret Origin version with different lyrics and rearranged structure) and I’ve always felt that She Won’t Follow You is underappreciated

 

Wtf now I'm even more bummed by it. Weird. I think it was the Boston show I went to.

 

yeah they played all of it when i saw them at the observatory it was .....very long. but sick as hell.

It was straight up stupid to announce this in August if the album isn’t coming out until January. This isn’t a Lady Gaga album that needs a radio single and six months of hype building up to a massive worldwide arena tour, lol.

 

Awesome, its nearly 1:30am here so about 5-ish. I hope the pre-orders include delivery to the UK.

 

Wasn’t this album done last year, too? I remember Yip tweeting about it last fall.

I just listened to the song "IDOTG" again because of the conversation in here and I would 100% take it off the album. It adds so little to the album.

 

It really depends on what mood I'm in but I Want To Know Your Plans will always be my favourite song by any artist.

Immediately not into the fact that they're bundling this with physical copies of Max's "manifesto."

Also is the no US shipping option? Shipping is as much as the record on my end, which I absolutely cannot afford

 

At one time Max was kind of pegged as the next Bob Dylan. Drive Thru records wanted to sign him at a real young age. (DTR was like the holy grail of pop-punk/emo labels for their type of sound.) IARB came out to everyone saying it was revolutionizing the genre and that Max was some kind of genius. Everything since then has been enjoyable and he's had peaks that were successful but nothing really compared to the fluidity on IARB. I think he just carried with him that pressure of being some sort of rock/emo prodigy that he somewhat is, I mean to have carried this band this far and this long to still have a decent following is saying something.

 

Dude the shipping bothers me as well. I'm not paying the same amount for the LP in shipping.

 

Not that I saw I paid $20.00 for shipping.

Anyone know what the It's Chill flexi is?

 

I feel like any Bob Dylan proclamations should’ve went out the window with “Wow I Can Get Sexual Too” - Max has always been having too much fun at the expense of his listeners to scale those heights
