I just heard "I, VIBRATOR" on my Release Radar playlist and did several double-takes on some of the lyrics. Immediately thought "I wonder what chorus think of this..." and ended up reading this entire thread. Your reactions did not disappoint.

i too had tickets to that tour and basically wanted to go out of morbid curiosity. i spent a lot of time defending both acts through most of the 00s and I wish I hadn't.

The singing voice for Simba in the Lion King was the lead singer of Toto. Uhhh, did Jack Antonoff produce a Toto album? And why is Carly (Rae Jepsen, I presume) getting dragged into this??

I actually really like Psyche! as a song (outside of the awful outtro) and decided to listen to I, Vibrator and these are some of the most vile lyrics i've ever heard. Genuinely baffling shit coming from (presumably) a grown man.
