I wonder if this will be Sherri's 1st time hearing this song like all of us, or if she got to hear it before everyone else.

I found this more listenable than almost all of the last album, but that's really not saying much. The thought that there will be 3 weeks of videos of Max shirtless, vaping in bed, is both hilarious and depressing at the same time.

 

Why did I pause this fantastic FKA Twigs album to listen to this garbage?

 

I think you have to take a deep look inside yourself to answer that question.

definitely sounded like Brian from Weatherbox doing backing vocals, but he sounds similar to Max sometimes so I could be wrong

Somewhere down the line I think Max convinced himself the only way to stay relevant was to quadruple down on the “tortured artist” aspect of his music to chase what he thinks people like about Is A Real Boy. So he self sabotaged to the fullest extent, and now we’re left with this mess.

It’s a bummer cause there was a point where he seemed to be genuinely happy, and now it’s really sad to see especially with kids involved in the picture.

 

Yeah it’s definitely going for a “shock value” but it’s uninspired and not in the slightest “creative” or cool.

Just sad and weird. Maybe he’s hoping that it just leads to an influx of bad press and then can take solace in the fact that “any press is good press”.

How am I going to sit through a vape contest half-sung-sing-along of Say Anything songs before seeing MCS next year?
