I know giving Max any benefit is undeserved at this point but I don't think it's that crazy to not want to meet with fans if you feel like absolute shit but still try and play a show.

like I had to do a double take when Sherri described her home schooling methods in that article and how max justifies taking them out on tour. homeschooling should be illegal.

I went down the rabbit hole recently of families who live in a RV full time with kids and it sounds awful. I don't know what Max/Sherri's is like but most of the videos/TikTok's I saw the parents got bigger beds and the kids all had to live in really small bunk beds together with no privacy. Some of the living/sleeping conditions for the kids was insane.

 

I follow solo and couple rv/van lifestyle people and one of my best friends is doing it but bringing kids into that lifestyle is insane



also I just saw an article about all the scamming Sherri and Max have done and it’s like a thousand times worse than I even realized on top of some even more questionable parenting practices I didn’t even know about. what a fucking wreck

 

For all the scamming, they're not very good at it. Seems like they'd be better off just giving music lessons.

Child Protective Services have been called on them before according to a family member (it was said on a podcast but I don’t have the exact link)

 

GOOGLE DARREN KING (and you just find a normal guy who seems insanely talented at drums.)

 

I believe CPS getting called on them is the basis for several songs on the album.

It's nice to hear an actual conversational Max comes across better than the stuff that gets online but I'm waiting for Cliffnotes, not listening for an hour and a half lol.

 

According to reddit, it sounds like Max at least tried a little harder to step up his game last night. Like here, they notoriously shit on him. Not sure how much better it can be when the bar couldn't have been lower
