The vaping obsessively is definitely the kicker. I know I’ve seen artists smoke weed on stage, but vaping continuously throughout a set is a new one. Like, is that even allowed at the venue? Lol
I saw them in Atlanta and we left after 5 songs, it was terrible. AJJ and Greet Death were great though!
the show here is sold out lol so many people going for the nostalgia are gonna be pissed and leave halfway in
Yeah they sold out two nights here. Tour is selling incredibly well. Grabbing AJJ for support is also helping it sell as they play similar sized venues here themselves. I’m sure this is a good cash grab, but I also think it’ll turn most fans away from ever seeing them again. Given Max’s condition and behavior he might be aware of that/not really giving a shit. I feel bad for the other guys playing with him. Good payday I’m sure, but also embarrassing to be associated with such a mess.
Yeah, but still that’s pretty decent for them considering all things. The two times I’ve seen them they played the Wonder and Revolution Hall. Both times they barely sold it out. They sold out two nights at Revolution Hall for this tour which is far better than I thought they’d draw. After this tour and those videos I wouldn’t be surprised if they play venues half the size if they ever tour again.
The venue here is like 2000 with the balcony open and like 1500 without? I would bet the balcony is open tho
The Eastern in Atlanta is a 2000+ cap room and I would say it was mostly full, but maybe not sold out. I was shocked how many people were there considering I've seen bigger bands at smaller venues that weren't sold out.
Was that the AvA tour? Saw them then too and it wasn’t great. I think SLC was one of the last dates so his vibe seemed absolutely shot.
Ryan Pope from The Get Up Kids appears to have played at every show so far on this tour. He’s in the pictures posted from last night’s show.
He did everything that people have been saying at the orlando show. Max sounded awful and I left after about 7 or 8 songs. Crazy thing is I've been to every florida say anything show sense 2009. This was the biggest show they have ever played here. None of the previous nostalgia tours did this well. I assume this must have been most of the crowds first time seeing them. So if this was my first time I would have left very disappointed
