I'd take new Weatherbox or JamisonParker over that as of now, pretty sure, but hell, it could be cool. Excited about that band line-up, despite not including Kenny Bridges and Greg Dunn this time around, though it probably makes sense for them

 

I wonder what it would even sound like - Brian was always so good with meshing his signature guitar style with more modern pop songwriting. Fingers crossed there will be another one someday

 

I misread at first and thought this was a promo for an entire album.... nope. Just one fucking song. Jesus.

 

Don't worry. He will have like a 3 set novel for when he announces an actual album

I remember Max and Sherri's kickstarter well b/c it was just weirdly pimping out their kids. Like $10K they would sing at your wedding and their two daughters can be flower girls (??????). I think Max was also selling a guitar that a fan had given him as a gift. I believe another, and I could be mis-remembering, was like a phone call with them as a family. Honestly I am surprised now they are not one of those cringey YoutTube family accounts from that kickstarter.

 

I don’t want to talk about anyone’s personal life or family stuff, but there’s quite a few red flags and poor financial decisions that they’ve put out there publicly at this point.

Max ‘bringing the band back’ is as expected as the sun rise.

I hope things get better for them and the band puts out cool stuff.

 

Damn...I'm glad I read that. I haven't been more excited for Say Anything since the lead up to In Defense of the Genre. Freaking Brian Warren (Weatherbox) is with Max. Fuck yeah.

 

Reminds me of when Eisley started a Kickstarter to basically pay for both bands' touring costs beforehand. Plus I think they wanted to hire babysitters or something, although I could be off on that one.

 

Yeah I remember them getting ripped apart on the old site for this one too lol

 

Just got news that the Front Bottoms, Say Anything and Kevin Devine will be playing Red Rocks, near Denver on August 4th.

 

I do wonder if this is the first time "skullfuck" has ever shown up in a presser...

 

Max comes across as a guy who turns off the A/C completely when he farts in the car then writes a 2000-word essay about how good his gas smells.

Had no idea there was so much hate for Max.

 

dude has been a weenie boy since as long as i can remember.

 

Song is awesome, everything I hoped for and more. Brian sounds perfect and I feel Fred’s part may be more subtle but it’s an exciting nugget before the album

 

Well, that single is really good, at least sonically it fucking rips

 

Wow, that was great. I'm shocked.

 

It sounds like IDOTG with better production. I mean that as a big compliment.
