I guess that’s true. He did release a statement admitting everything that was alleged was true, but the band disappeared completely after that and nothing has been said since. I would thought more people in their fanbase would have seen that and know about his history of abuse, but people have short memories when it comes to stuff like this and honestly don’t care. Still seems weird that they didn’t release any statement and just come out with a random hometown show celebrating one of their albums, but I guess that’s a good way to brush things under the rug.

 

I think he needs reaffirm his stance, tell people the work he's been doing and honestly make an effort to show people he's trying to help others and heal himself.

But that's just me.

I mean I'd argue that the most important thing would be the wishes of the person that Chris abused, and whether or not they were contacted regarding them getting back together/Chris coming into the public space again. If they weren't and they aren't, who gives a shit what he does to "better himself". He shouldn't be on a stage.

This is getting odd. Yourbandsucks who definitely has a right to feel hurt and angry is deleting any comments they made that painted them in a bad light and is making threats to Rodrigo and his family.

It seems like a very bad idea for everyone involved to be doing this publicly, but it seems like certain parties want it publicly for a reason.

 

Def shouldn't be public and I don't feel any better about Chris at the moment
