I honestly don't know why I bother with these limited pre-orders lol smh

 

i just went back to check out of curiosity, this is how it looks to me

 

It's a lie - I've been trying since 8am on the dot lol

 

Can someone teach me their ways? I don't know how anyone got it outside of pure dumb luck lol

I was on the site for a goddamn hour leading up to it and refreshing constantly every second for the minute leading up to it... then it said it was available - checked out with PayPal - SOLD OUT! All of them. Sold out. lolz

 

I am honestly kinda shocked that there were even 1,000 STD fans trying to get this right on the dot, haha.

 

I was feverishly refreshing the page at 10:59 and immediately selected the /500 variant when the dropdown box appeared. Luckily my laptop auto-filled my contact info so I just had to put in my credit card stuff. Whole process took less than a minute.

Grabbed the /500 when they went on sale. Excited to have more Saves the Day for my collection, I don't have nearly enough

 

I foolishly tried for the 200 first and it said sold out. Switched to 500 and checked out fairly quickly thank god.

 

This isn’t that surprising? It’s an album that’s been out of print for a long time and has been heavily requested.

 

Damn. That's what I did too.. I honestly think it's dumb luck.

surprised it lasted more than a half hour. Even with STD’s small fan base these days , 1000 is not a lot.

I refreshed the page just now and tried to get the /300 In Reverie: White w/ Black & Baby Blue Splatter... and it worked! Maybe my bitching on the internet actually worked!

 

I think the site was just jammed up because I couldn't get one for 30 minutes and then randomly did after trying once more lol

 

And I’m sure there’s flippers grabbing copies too considering the OG goes for $200

 

Keep trying, sounds like some people carted two copies but obviously it won’t let them check out, so there will be more popping up here and there

 

Yeah, but it's just kind of weird because the last few times I've seen them live, there's like 50 people there, mayyyybe. But yeah, I'm sure we're going to be seeing quite a few of these flipped this summer on Discogs.

Yeah, I definitely checkout via stripe instead of Paypal on stuff like this. Much faster because you don't have to leave the site to go login to Paypal.

 

I don't think Utah has anything to do with it, haha. We have big and sold out shows from bands similar to STD all the time. I don't know where you are, but I'd imagine east coast STD shows are probably much bigger though.

 

So much great stuff came out today but now I just want to throw on In Reverie

 

Chrome saving my card info definitely helped me haha

 

So bummed I missed on this. Was trying from 11:03 until like 11:30 where I gave up to start making lunch and turns out I should’ve kept trying for just a little bit longer

 

Got lucky, in and out at 11 for the /200.
