although i suspect chris might be v difficult to work with and is probably the one running them out so idk the level of goodwill there

I had never heard that title before, but a quick google search brings up lyrics that are 99% the same as the lyrics to “Monkey.” Must have been a working title for that song.

 

So is there a stay what you are session version floating around somewhere?

Per wiki: 13 tracks were recorded in total, including two outtakes "Ups and Downs" and "For Erminie".

 

I have no clue, sorry. Interesting that it was mentioned as a separate outtake.

Fun fact: Erminie is mentioned in "Black Hole," the closing track to the 2nd Two Tongues album.

I believe Erminie is Chris Conley's grandmother, just out of assumption.

 

i did a little digging and i found this weird fan site that has some demos and it's called "monkey" here but it starts with "hello kate" like the "For Erminie" lyrics i saw. i mean maybe not what you were looking for but kinda good anyway: Media - CertainTragedy.com (also pressing download just opened a media player in my browser and didn't actually download anything, just in case that's a worry)

 

Maybe as close as we're going to get - or maybe that wiki article is wrong. Cool site though - i've never heard that certain tragedy demo.

Definitely back Claudio coming back. I feel bad for him, he left Saves to do Motion City and then they brought Tony back pretty quickly and he was just out of both gigs

 

I never heard that before either. Great stuff. The “Monkey” demo is really good too. Chris sounds fantastic.
