This year is nuts, Justin Pierre, Saves The Day, Say Anything, FIDLAR, Gorillaz, Pink Spiders, a solo LP from Jimmy Urine of MSI (featuring Gerard Way and Grimes), The Ting Tings, Interpol, Foxing, Now Now, and Arctic Monkeys.

This year has been insane for music.

There's a lot this year I've started listening to for the first time that's super good like Meg Myers.

I just really want this Say Anything/Senses Fail tour to go through. I need Say Anything to complete the MCS/STD/SA trinity. It could be one of the greatest 4 day stretches of my life.

Ordered the vinyl since it’s only /500 and I love this band.

The Wonder Years (and now probably Saves as well) are my only like, favorite band that's put out music this year that has been in my top of the year. The rest has been dominated by more new artists like The Aces, Fickle Friends, and bands I previously didn't love like Turnstile and Pianos Become the Teeth and Foxing

I did get the vinyl, but I couldn't pull the trigger on the long-sleeve. To say I've been spending recklessly lately is an extreme understatement so I had to do the slightly less irresponsible thing here. Couldn't chance missing out on the first pressing though.

Didn't those three bands tour together many years ago? I pretty much lost my voice during that show.

Yea I mentioned it earlier in the thread. I saw them all on Halloween (and it was my first time seeing all of them except an MCS acoustic show in a Best Buy). So it was really cool for me that they were all coming back the week after Halloween. But now idk about the Say Anything show.

Getting a new Trio and Saves The Day album both in the same year is unreal.

The press release for the album sounds the exact opposite of a band that's about to break up. It sounds written by a band who is planning to do this for a long time to come. I think we can safely put the "Saves the Day are breaking up" rumors to rest.

Oh interesting, the album is chronicling the timeline of the bands existence...the single is the second to last track and I think its set around the self titled era when they were doing like all of those living room shows and stuff like that.

This is so not what I was expecting given the clips from Arun over the years. Not sure if I dig this song (leaning towards no) but I am glad the boys are back!
