I personally think these farewell reunions have been way overblown. I don't think any of them have come from a reputable place - just people making assumptions and running with it because we hadn't heard from them for a while. But it's not like this is the first time they've taken forever to release an album and/or gone quiet for a while. And last time they took this long it produced the incredible album that is Daybreak so I'm excited.

 

On another note this song is giving me a serious Daybreak vibe

aka their second best album IMO

I've only listened to like one albums worth of songs by Anberlin so I feel like it wouldn't be fair of me to judge. They just weren't my thing. I was just playing.

The idea of a song called "Saves the Day" has me pretty pumped and also seems like it could be a sign that this might be their last album. Of course it's equally possible for that to be wrong, though.

True, but they didn't have any breakup rumors circulating about them when they decided to self-title a song.
