I wish i could just tune out these lyrics because the music is fantastic

Any non-live record with the lyrics “turn it up, we’re saves the day!” Is the worst STD record

Definitely. References "green eyes" and meeting on halloween on the corner outside a bar. That whole section is beautiful.

 

“29” my god it’s full of stars

 

Undress Me, Stand in the Stars, and 29... the dude is passionate about this woman. Seriously some iconic closing tracks, in standard StD fashion.

The slide guitar on Suzuki makes me so happy. HRC vibes.

 

29 is as awesome as I hoped. The beginning section is a little In Reverie-ish.

20 minutes later, holy shit that was great.

 

I really love "Suzuki". Only halfway through but I'm digging it so far.

 

That's a great way to describe the lyrics which at first turned me off - then gradually I started vibing with.

 

Up to "1997." This album rules.

"29" is fantastic. kind of mixed on a lot of the rest of the album but that track is 21 minutes of the best the band has to offer.

i might not make it through this whole album...this isn't great and i'm about as big a saves the day fan as you'll ever meet
