I finally understand the criticism that today's pop-punk is bland.

 

I wish bands would just stop signing with Victory.

 

I've been saying this for years and have received a lot of hate on boards for it. Moreover, I think I just need someone to tell me the best pop punk records to check out of the last 5 years or so because it all sounds the same to me.

 

Lucky for you, all the best records from the last five years will be coming out this year.

 

I still love pop punk but this is pretty generic.

 

This is bottom of the gutter for this genre to be fair, the bands at the top of the genre are killing it and innovating.

 

I mean, it's not the worst pop-punk song I've ever heard.
