24 minute album kinda stinks but I'm digging it

especially the opener + cross my heart

 

Liked but didn’t love it on one listen. The EP is still unmatched.

 

What a stupidly stacked day for new releases

 

Very tepid and uninspiring record

 

I like this, but it’s definitely pretty tame, which is fine. Just woulda been nice to see them level up at all

 

Idk, I really like the 2 listens I’ve gotten in. Love the shorter length too, doesn’t overstay its welcome.

 

it's music for the current generation

their attention span is shorter than the previous generation

part of a bigger topic outside of this band, but ADHD (which is mentioned in one of the songs) runs rampant in this community of artists

 

I mean the shorter runtime isn’t exactly new. Every Joyce manor album is like 7 minutes long.

It's not, but I feel like Joyce Manor really inspired it among the current crop of emo-revival bands

 

A short but fun listen

 

I like it. But I miss the group vocals. I’m sure it will be fun live on the fall tour.

 

harmless rock & roll. was anticipating a bit more energy off of the EP but I enjoyed it.

 

definitely will be revisiting this. don't mind the brevity.

 

Second listen and I’m enjoying it a lot more. There are still plenty of gang vocals? Not getting that complaint.

 

Really fun album.

 

On first listen "waste away" is still my favorite track. I liked how on the EP every song was a bit unique. They sound more uniform.

 

Listened on a drive today but not sure that was the right environment for it. Definitely lower energy than I expected but I don’t hate that.

Downloaded it for my holiday, hoping it clicks while drinking cocktails around the pool or exploring old Greek ruins.

 

Listening again and yeah this is really good. More lowkey that I thought it would be but I’m loving it.

 

I like this quite a bit after a multiple listens.

eat me alive was such a great closer that I was hoping for something like that here but it's still good

 

Really liking this. Can't think of anything here that really misses for me. Stay in partciular is a big winner.

 

Such a good album. Keep coming back to this, just wish it was longer. Easily in my top 5 of the year.

This unfortunately has not really grown on me at all this week. Pretty middle of the road record for the genre imo, a general sound that I like but contents that I will probably not have much reason to return to in the long run

 

Spinning the vinyl now. Still dig it.

but man I just love their EP so much more.
