Pretty solid performance from Cardi lol

 

The high hopes I started this episode with after the first couple sketches have been steadily declining unfortunately

Damn Cardi changing it up, that was pretty high energy

 

Jack McBrayer has not aged a day

 

nicest surprise a cameo's been in a minute

 

Honest question, when was the last time Michael Che told a funny joke on weekend update

 

I thought that was a super solid WU actually, felt like it had more bite

Also that Dismukes/Ashley segment is gold, I hope they don't outstay its welcome but its been great both times so far

 

Oh yeah both correspondent pieces were solid

 

"stop asking her if she knows stuff" got me, shit

 

Agnes sketch was very dumb but I laughed a lot

 

That ruled.

 

Tarzan sketch was the first real miss for me

 

wasn't terrible but it didn't quite go anywhere either

 

that's the third time i'm seeing a commercial for this kinky boots musical tonight

 

This is a fantastic premise

 

final sketches never hit like this man

 

tonight was a lot better than i figured

 

Yeah this was a super solid episode, I haven't seen Skarsgard in much but every time I do I feel like he's bringing a really weird and unique energy that I like

Also thought this was a notably good showing for Jane

 

Cool to see Pete Davidson back on SNL. I heard he had kinda a falling out with NBCUniversal after he left his Peacock show and he was persona non grata with them for awhile.
