Huge for Nikki!! I got to open for her in 2022, now I can say I got to open for someone who's hosted SNL. Super huge deal!!

 

SNL really doubling down on the TikTok music. I do like Olivia Dean though. Not to be all rock purist, but it would be nice if they could book one rock band once in awhile.

 

Alright actually looking back, it hasn’t been that long since I didn’t know the artist. I did not know Karol G in 2023 and did not know Nathaniel Rateliff in 2021 (ngl I don’t remember him, for all intents and purposes I still have not heard of him lol)

I think Maggie Rogers was the last time SNL put me onto an artist that I actually liked and continued listening to

Not particularly thrilled about any of the November announcements even though I really like Nikki. I always get the impression that Glen Powell wants people to think he's funny way more than he's actually funny

 

I got nothing against him and I’m looking forward to The Running Man (primarily because of Edgar Wright) but Glen seems like the actor Hollywood is trying the most to make him the new leading man of the 2020s.

 

Bowen won’t be in tonight’s episode so he can accept the Vantage Award from the Academy Museum

 

He’s very funny in Hit Man & Everybody Wants Some!! at least. Might be a Linklater thing
