Premieres are honestly usually one of the weakest episodes of the season so I'll give them a break here, but really not a strong start to the season
I was like it's probably the same show that inspired Bumbleeman on The Simpsons and it was the same creator
I thought it was an alright episode for SNL. I appreciate that they go pretty Latino when BB is on. I’m a Latino from SoCal so it doesn’t feel that subversive or special to see Marcello do a Latin accent or more Latino stuff when BB is on but then I read the SNL subreddit and some of the reactions there make me appreciate what it means to have that stuff on an institution like SNL more. I hope they let Ashley lead the show and let the new people shine. Everyone else is kinda stale/we’ve already seen them do their thing and it’d be a shame if Ashley and new folks keep playing third fiddle to the other seniors there.
Great cold open, I'm glad they're not going easy on this administration after all the Kimmel/Colbert shit
Ben's first line as a cast member in that sketch lol That also felt like an old school commercial parody
