Bowen's probably out the door and as much as I love Sarah's chaotic WU appearances, it seems she's most needed in sketches. Longfellow might be the best option out of the current cast

 

I would honestly be surprised if Bowen leaves after this season, I'm guessing he'll do one more "victory lap" season like a lot of breakout cast members do

Definitely agree with the consensus that Longfellow should get Update, and I wouldn't mind him doing it by himself. I wonder if Devon Walker could have the chops to do it with him if they're gonna keep him around? Him and Longfellow seem pretty tight in real life, they do a lot of standup shows together

 

it’s most likely they both leave sure but i could see a chance of Jost doing it solo or Jost + Sarah

 

I would be into Longfellow and Walker doing it that actually could be pretty good

 

What are you guy's thinking about the featured players? I like Padilla and Wickline, but do we think Emil is getting asked back?

 

I think we’re toonn be optimistic in here, expecting Jost and Che for another ten years

 

Ashley Padilla is the clear standout of the featured players. It’d be way too soon for them to make this call now, but I still think she may have the juice for Update if the opportunity ever presents itself down the road

Emil and Jane are fine. Felt like Jane became more comfortable on stage towards the end of the season, but her lines still land like a wet blanket. Emil always nails what he’s in, even the minor roles, but clearly doesn’t get many bits on the show. Have to imagine they’ll both be back but wouldn’t be pressed if they weren’t

 

Jane got on way too early. She’d probably be great in 3-4 years.

 

I forgot who said it, but I remember some ex-cast member saying Lorne always tells new cast members that it usually takes 4-5 seasons to feel really comfortable and find your footing.

 

is jane the cast member that does the surprising couple update bit with marcelo? i like them in that bit but cant say i remember them from anything else
