I saw it a few minutes after so that didn’t think about it, this country acts as if COVID is the very so didn’t even consider that.
Something about this band bugged the hell out of me even before the creepy shit came out Also did they lose like eight members
I really viscerally hated that performance for some reason, I'm usually just ambivalent to musical guests I don't care about
Man, Partner sketch didn't really work for me either and I've liked all of the other Dan Bulla sketches so far
Yeah that was an extremely disappointing episode. Hopefully they bring it for the finale because I'm feeling a big cast exodus coming on
Not to be all “I didn’t like them before the allegations,” but I have never understood the appeal of TAF. I even bought “The Suburbs” after their Grammy win, listened to it a dozen times and my ears and brains just completely rejected it.
Agreed. I like a couple of songs from Funeral but this is one band I never have gotten the praise for, despite how much I tried.
Attended my first taping tonight. Arcade Fire played “Stuck in my Head” after the good nights. Easily their best performance of the three. Cold Open, Weekend Update, and the sketch with Walton as a waiter into moms were easily the highlights. Fully expecting Jost, Che, Mikey, and Heidi to dip after next week. Wouldn’t be surprised if some combination of Ego, Bowen, and Chloe head out too. Who knows about the featured players? None of the three seem like they have much in terms of job security, but Lorne makes some interesting choices.
Why are we expecting Heidi to leave? Because she’s been on for 8 seasons? Does she have a big movie or TV career after this? I don’t see it and this is so in her wheelhouse. She can continue to own this show and mold it more
Yeah, I also don’t see her leaving. A decade or two ago, Ego and she feel like they’d be primed for a movie or series, but that hasn’t really happened for whatever reason.
