Yeah that monologue was the biggest bomb I’ve heard in some time.

 

News sketch felt very risky but it won me over

Tate McRae performance was cool but not crazy about the song

 

I can't think of anything that has a more disparate audience than Shane and Sports Car lol

 

They’ve done like 3 of these and they’ve all been ehh

 

Man, I want to root for Jane because I like her vibe but I always feel like her bits never quite get there for me. A romantic song about the trolley problem is a great premise but the jokewriting just is not there yet

 

Coupon sketch was funny, and great night for Ashley

I haven't really watched a lot of Shane Gillis. Didn't see his first episode. He kind of sucks.

It is immensely gratifying to see upwards of 5 online publications trashing last night’s episode.

 

The monologue was very bad but I stand by my opinion that the sketches themselves had funny bits and was in line with the rest of this season

 

Just on the Gillis front - I think it’s pretty telling of where he’s at that when he started bombing, he immediately went to liberals and cancel culture stuff. Like, man, you do pods with proud white supremacists, Tony Hinchcliffe and the Legion of Skanks and you’re all richer because of your support of Trump. The cancel culture stuff getting no laughs couldn’t be more deserved.
