debbie downer is a weird one bc while it rules as a skit, it really only works because the camera work and i feel like live it wouldn’t have the same effect

She was disappointed that celebrities like Sabrina Carpenter and Kim Kardashian got airtime in sketches over SNL legends who were barely featured on the show, but she gets why they did that. Talks about how boring some attractive celebrities are.

I got in a rabbithole of watching "the mid to late 2000's SNL cast was the greatest of all time" comp videos, and I never really thought about it before but they kinda were. Poehler, Samberg, Rudolph, Meyers, Wiig, Hader, Armisen, Forte, Sudeikis, Thompson, Hammond.

I took for granted how truly blessed we were from 2005-2009.

 

I’m watching an old season of SNL right today. I’m on the Christian Slater/Bonnie Raitt episode from 1991 right now and it’s pretty lame, except Bonnie’s performance. Haha.
