Also I bet next season we get double duty from Sabrina or Chappell, whenever one of them releases their next album. That's way down the line, but definitely see that happening.
sabrina is a star and could easily carry the improv part. not sold on chappell at this point. both are great musical guests though.
Oh yeah Sabrina is a shoe in for host as well. It's Chappell that hasn't dived into the straight acting yet but she's already such a star that I can see it eventually happening.
i'm psyched to see what chappell's new record looks like. she's been sitting on those same songs for a long time. sabrina's star power shows through pretty much everywhere. it's definitely on display at its best during her tiny desk.
Based off his tour dates routing I think we can assume Kendrick will be on SNL on 5/10. He plays in NJ the night before and his next show isnt until the Monday after.
Tim Robinson has Friendship coming out and Turnstile likely has music coming out soon. I am still begging for that pairing to happen
Also gonna make the guess of either Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, or David Harbour around when Thunderbolts drops.
SNL booking a more underground act is a rarity, we’re much more likely to get Benson Boone than Turnstile Id love Tim to come back and host and this movie might be a great chance, but I wouldn’t put it past them to get Rudd and have Tim make a cameo.
I wonder how much of a live sketch guy Tim is at this point. He barely does any interviews and seems to be content with making his own stuff and skateboarding. Would be surprised if he came back to host.
I wouldn't say Turnstile is much of an underground act anymore. If someone like Japanese Breakfast can play, Turnstile definitely can
They just released a bunch of 360 version of some SNL 50 bits for y'all who like seeing celebrity audience reactions to jokes
