Good episode, was dying at the end with Louie's accent.

    Had to watch late tonight

Cold open was good for how much they had to cover after the long break. Jokes could have been stronger though

Typically great Louis CK monologue. Still need to watch his new special

Maybelline court sketch was slightly too long but I thought it was funny for the most part

Thank You Scott was pretty on point. Not the funniest sketch but good satire

50's Diner was funny for the most part but kind of fell apart once Leslie came in. I liked the ending though

Pepsi Commercial was again slightly too long but again great satire

I really do not like the Chainsmokers at all

Pretty good Weekend Update, Kate's bit was great

The O'Reilly Factor kind of dragged on and could have been more biting, even though I'm very glad they went after O'Reilly

    Birthday Clown was really funny

Sectional Couches was incredibly strange and a lot of people will probably hate it but I enjoyed it

Tenement Museum would have been a bust if it weren't for Louie's hilariously bad accent and the rare Kate breaking

I fucking love Louis CK and this show is always great when he hosts, and he's always perfectly utilized and hilarious, especially for someone who's not even really an actor. Very glad the show is back, I'm the rare person that still likes Jimmy Fallon so I'm looking forward to next week too.

Still 25 minutes until it airs over here but I just want to say that I'm sooo excited for actual live episodes for the rest of the season. Watching SNL at 8:30 will be great

I liked this one a lot. I always think sketch comedy is best when the cast/writers are allowed to get as weird as possible (see: my love of Mr. Show and The State) so a lot of the sketches tonight were right up my alley. The Birthday Clown sketch was favorite part, easily, I loved loved loved it. CK's standup was awesome as well.

    The Chainsmokers are, just, terrible.

Can't wait to watch Jimmy Fallon giggle his way through the entire episode while staring directly into the camera next week.

Last nights episode was great, I laughed at like 90% of the sketches!

    That being said... chainsmokers suckkkkk

I weirdly like that Paris song, so that first performance was cool. Second song was garbage though.

Louis was awesome and I love how weird the episode was.

The birthday clown skit might have been my favorite skit of the season. Was laughing hysterically from start to finish.

Man that O'Reilly sketch was just not funny in the slightest, which is too bad because I feel like it should have been

Birthday clown and sectional couches were the best sketches for me easily. Also, the Chainsmokers are boring af but I'd STILL take either of those two songs over that liquid dogshit trash fire Selfie song they released a while back.

The part in the clown sketch where he asks how old he's turning and says under his breath "Jesus" had me dying.

Honestly, I rarely find any of the live SNL sketches funny anymore. My favorites over the past few years have always been the pre-filmed segments (i.e. Mr. Bunting, Gosling/Santa, Birthday Clown). Some of the live sketches are still enjoyable for me, but I find most of them to be pretty lackluster.

Don't forget "Ice Cream" from a few years back. I've seen that thing a million times and I still lose my shit every time.

I just noticed that there's a hockey game being broadcast until 8pm here... I'm really really hoping it doesn't go long because that would be a huge bummer to have SNL preempted.
