interesting video that goes over TLI rise and impact on SNL. i remember watching lazy sunday on YouTube, i had no idea it was uploaded to YouTube right after it launched. do you guys think TLI kept SNL relevant?
Crazy that Lorne didn't think the Blues Brothers were funny and only let them go because they had an extra 3 minutes to fill.
The funniest scene in Blues Brothers is Ray Charles hanging up the concert poster for the Blues Brothers upside down. At least, it was when I was a kid.
The Blues Brothers is an entertaining film that puts you in a good mood. Blues Brothers 2000 was, well… something else.
Minus some of the SNL self-sucking, That 50 Years of Music doc is pretty awesome. The Kanye stuff is something.
Everyone losing it made the sketch memorable Jimmy Fallon 'Got in so Much Trouble' for 'SNL' 'Love-ahs' Sketch with Will Ferrell and Drew Barrymore
The one on the weird season 11 and the one that went super in depth on the cowbell sketch were great.
Still think it would have been more interesting to get one on season 12, which I think is the most important season in the show's history to what it is now, and not one on the slump season leading up to it's rebirth the next year. Still fascinating though.
That SNL 50 homecoming concert lineup is pretty underwhelming. Who the hell is asking for Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons and Jelly Roll?
