I honestly had no idea Damon Wayans was a castmember on the "weird season" or that he was the first (and possibly only) person Lorne ever fired for going rogue during a sketch.

Not sure if it was my TV, the way he spoke or just my old ass used to watching TV with subtitles, but for some reason I had a real hard time understanding a lot of what he said in his monologue.

I felt the same. I think it was him, my TV is only a couple years old and I have a sound bar.
