I love how much Andy apparently doesn’t want to be a part of this. Seems like a Tim Robinson type where he just wants to make comedy and not really talk about it. Also, judging by the timestamp of this past episode, with the Canadian fires messing up NYC, these eps were recorded a year ago.
And I’m glad they did that because SOME podcasts like the It’s Always Sunny guys seemed to be recorded closer to air date and they missed a month at a time more than once
They’re definitely doing it right, especially with Meyers being so busy. I do wonder how long they can go and if they plan on covering every video or just covering their greatest hits after awhile. And for sure. I don’t think the Always Sunny guys were prepared for how big the pod got and really burned out on it.
Yeah the Always Sunny pod is approaching a year without any new episodes I'm pretty sure, and they never seemed that into it in the first place (I still loved it though). Would be surprised if it came back
Yep. They’re all filthy rich and just want to sell their alcohol and make the show, along with Mac and Wrexham.
The Hot Rod episode of the TLI pod is amazing and so happy it's only part 1. I always figured that the guys basically rewrote 90% of it themselves but I always wondered why they weren't credited writers on the movie. I also had no idea how much creative input Seth apparently had on it It sounds like Pam Brady, all three TLI guys and Seth all should have been credited writers on the movie judging from what they were saying
Def shouldn’t be that way, but shit like that happens all the time. In TV too, it’s pretty unbelievable what people get solely credited with.
I rewatched Hot Rod and listened today it was great can’t wait for part 2 I hope they make another movie soon. Not sure they can top Popstar
They’re definitely due for… something. I know they’ve been producing a ton of stuff, but papa needs the core trio again!
The joke Seth had about Isla Fisher being in the FBI would have a perfect Naked Gun-type joke. I hope Akiva uses it in the remake.
They've posted some stories from what looks like a recording studio semi-recently. Hope it's actually leading to something
