Agreed. I mean, they ran Gilly into the ground and I still love that.

 

The original sketch will still be funny, but every reminder than SNL finally did something funny only reminds me how often they strike out lol

 

I live in Sioux Falls so the PDD skit hit hard and I loved it lol. To me, this episode was a lot better than the Dua Lipa episode

 

Were the 3 fathers from PDD actually them?

 

Definitely not. John's dad is Steve Higgins, an SNL producer and Fallon's sidekick on the Tonight Show, and Martin Herlihy's dad is Tim Herlihy who writes with Adam Sandler and they both don't look like the guys that appeared on the show lol

I remember seeing the 25th anniversary live as a kid in 1999 and watching the DVD of it all the time. This makes me feel old as shit.
