Great episode. Gosling rules. Love that he and several cast members broke. Makes it more fun.

 

That Beavis and Butthead sketch was the hardest I’ve laughed for SNL in a long time.

Best episode in the past couple of years. Not a single dud.

 

I love that they absolutely didn’t show Heidi the make up for butthead before hand so that’s why she absolutely lost it.

 

definitely the season's best at minimum. i don't even care that we didn't get any PDD

 

Damn, I didn’t know that Stapleton was down to hang. Get that boy back was fun

 

Loved the whole episode except for Che in Weekend Update, he’s been so lazy at joke delivery the last ten years, I can’t wait til he leaves the show

 

Give Weekend Update to Sarah and anyone else and this show would be so much better

 

Longfellow and Sarah to me would be a great pairing

 

Sarah is probably too left leaning to host Weekend Update

This is a weird cast in that I like most of them but it also needs to be smaller.

Heidi has been here for 7 years and I feel like she has only gotten about 3 years worth of screentime

 

Yep agreed. Damn though, crazy to imagine it's really been 7.

 

This is why she’d be good. Update with some actual bite would be so refreshing.

 

I don't really want Sarah on the Update desk because she's too good in sketches, Cecily has said that her short time on WU cut into that for her which is one of the reasons she stopped. It's a perfect fit for Longfellow

 

I loved the whole show - the papyrus 2 sketch? Was that Kyle in it? I had to google that there was a first papyrus sketch

I’d love to see Conan host in May after Dua Lipa. His Hot Ones appearance last week was iconic and his MAX series should be enough of a reason to let him host again

 

Damn yeah that would be awesome

Still bummed we didn't get Larry David either, but maybe still in play

 

Conan would be perfect. His Hot Wings had me laughing the whole show....
