Actually really good cold open, Scarlett Johansson needs to do more comedy

Monologue was kind of all over the place but Brolin is charming enough to make it work

Bank Robbery was good, I always respect Heidi's willingness to go all out

Plane sketch was fantastic lol, best song sketch in a while

People Pleaser's Support Group was pretty clever. I'm surprised they didn't just have Ariana host

Cat sketch was really funny too, really good start so far

Shrimp Tower wasn't my favorite, kind of went on too long

Shonda was also just okay

Haven't heard much of Ariana Grande's new music yet but I liked that song a lot

Really funny Update but weird to see no guest, when's the last time that happened?

Movie Musical Masterpieces wasn't exactly hilarious but it was fun to watch

Sandwich King was the first straight up bad one

Lisa from Temecula was okay. I kinda hate when a sketch works the first time because the actors were breaking and then they keep trying to follow it up, the breaking always feels more forced

This was a very solid episode. The first half was definitely better than the second half but Brolin is always really good at this kind of thing

Escapism was a top 25 hit here and had radio play and TikTok popularity, she's huge in the UK

 

I'm stoked for both of those but especially Gosling, he fucking brings it every single time
