I wonder how Bowen is feeling first having Chappelle make a surprise appearance last week during the good nights and now this week having Haley appear and next week Gillis.

  2. Kinda forgot he was hired the same year as Chloe and Bowen. 5 years feels like a lifetime ago

Doesn’t matter how diverse your cast gets when your show is run by old white men and edgelords like Michael Che

Solid episode though, Ayo crushed it as Solomon

Gillis actually turned out to be a funny standup in the years since that incident

Pretty good episode definitely enjoyed last weeks a little more though

Gotta assume Larry David will host this season?

Tim Robinson is definitely overdue we need that

Ayo was great. The best sketches were towards the end when they just let her be her.

Ayo was great, even tho it felt like a selling your soul to achieve your dreams moment when she had to say thank you to Nikki Haley lol

She should get asked back tho, fit in perfectly in the sketches

They gotta fire Josh and Che finally and give up to Sarah Squirm

My take on Gillis is he can be funny but he leans into the edgelord shit which is lame as fuck. It’s also been super fucking annoying seeing the worst people you know online posting about how SNL is finally worth watching next week.

  11. I’ve never seen his stand up, all I know is that anyone embracing the absolute worst type of fandom that comes with being exposed for saying or doing racist things can buzz off forever. Completely uninterested in whatever he’s got to say

Yeah, I slightly lightened up to him after my friend showed me his special. He does have a kind of endearing quality. But it just can’t be ignored that he hangs out with some of the worst, most racist people in comedy, while also having fans and defenders like Jerrod Carmichael.

Safe to say Bowen was not happy with the Haley cameo.

It was the best episode of 2024 so far, but I was a little underwhelmed. The hypnosis sketch and hair cut court one were fantastic though. Ayo brought her A-game there. I was bummed there was no sketch with her and PDD. I feel like that would have killed it.

Niki showing up sucked a whole bunch though.

On the Valentine couples sketch, there were some people that are not part of the cast. Do we know who they were?

From my understanding, they typically recruit NYC-based actors and improvisors to appear as non-speaking extras. Or they could be friends/family members of the staff.

Got through the sketches - oof. The valentine one for couples, is just the same 'bring out different people and walk away'.

    The drug one? no.
    The school classroom? No.
Whyd you say it? Seems like a repeat.
