Well that was one of the weirder performances I've ever seen on this show but I respect it

How do you set up Marcello to manically do the whole commercial by himself and then not do it?

“Of course a knockout like you would walk in the day before my rhinoplasty” was the only joke in this entire episode

Aubrey is the fucking best and while this episode wasn't the absolute knockout I was hoping it would be I still thoroughly enjoyed it and hope she becomes a repeat host

 

As an SNL apologist I’ve sat through a lot of trash, but this episode was egregiously bad

 

i honestly thought this was one of the best of the season so far

 

I thought Aubrey was trying way too hard when she was playing April. Her part of that bit seemed so forced.

This one was so bad about leaning on topical stuff. Like do we really need three sketches about the movies and TV shows of the moment? They’re not even good jokes now, in the short window they’ll be remotely relevant. And then you have the Miss Universe thing where it’s like… the joke was the event itself. You can’t beat the real thing. Doing the scream 30 times adds nothing lol, it’s embarrassingly lazy

Taboo and HIV Commercial were both fun ideas but clearly needed some more workshopping, they just fizzled. Aubrey really flubbed the hot salad bit. I’ll cop to the sports one just not really being for me, and being pretty checked out by that noir one

 

I didnt find it too funny. I Was hoping for more.

oh well.

 

Omg Sarah Sherman is going to be a guest on the upcoming True Anon episode. Sarah and Brace Belden together is going to be a lot.

Also Devon Walker was just on Staavy's pod.
