Glad Chappelle didn't insist on talking about trans people or being cancelled for the millionth time, proof that he can still be funny when he tries. Great monologue

PM in the Afternoon was really funny, fantastic twist

Keke Palmer is an interesting choice, haven't seen her much but she was great in Nope

I love how when Chappelle hosts he introduces sketches like on Chappelle's Show

House of the Dragon was super fun. It's so weird seeing him do those old characters with how he looks and sounds now

Barber Shop was a really clever premise. Longfellow is getting a ton of screentime for a new cast member and I really like him

Chappelle has gotten top tier musical guests on the show every time he's been on. Mos Def needs more time in the spotlight again, Talib is always solid and dope to see Madlib on SNL

Great Update. Sarah is such a star, I wouldn't mind if she got WU for real

Black Heaven was great, super funny meta premise

Finally another PDD video! It's crazy how many of their jokes hit with editing so quick

I was admittedly worried about Chappelle hosting again given how he's been lately but luckily all of that bad shit with him was nowhere to be seen tonight, even if just for an hour and a half I was enjoying his comedy again. Hopefully he's shutting the fuck up about all of that other stuff now. Favorite of the season so far

 

No not really, he talked about the Kanye stuff but he didn't really frame it as cancel culture

 

Despite Chappelle on the show, and his previous comments, it <WAS> a solid show.

PDD was good
Sarah on the news was good - reminded me a lot of David Spade coming on the news for his entertainment update, or even Sandler with Operaman. Quick hit, and it hits well.

Barber shop was good too

All the new cast members are doing well, aren't they? Lots of air time.

 

I predicted Keke Palmer and I’m really excited it’s happening, hoping she’s not let down by shit writing.

 

She should be good. I didnt know much about her til I wiki'ed and realized 'Oh! Her!'
