Cold open was pretty good. I liked the Lantern Fly WU bit too - Dismukes coming out as crops killed me. I laughed pretty hard at Kenan’s part in the McDonald’s sketch even if the rest of it was pretty bad
New intro is cool Bereal was funny but an ad Charmin was unfunny and an ad really liked the Michael Longfellow WU segment. I hope he is given space to go full Jeselnik.
the episode did need more sarah but also I just remembered that she got the biggest laugh of the episode from me in the cold open when she's trying to claw her way through the window lol
Yeah, sketches-as-ads has been a thing since 2016, really. 'Saturday Night Live' will cut down on commercials to make way for sponsored content But you're right that it felt like more than usual. Fun episode overall.
I could’ve absolutely sworn the charmin sketch was a repeat, but I couldn’t find the original anywhere. Then I realized it’s because it wasn’t SNL haha. It was this
there’s always at least one thing from the week leading up to an snl episode that can’t believe i didn’t predict they’d touch base on, and tonight it’s mario pratt
it’s like the writers knew everyone stopped talking about blonde and figured there’s no point in providing their a-material
Wow Longfellow is getting a lot of screentime already And I find Dismukes super funny for some reason, he reminds me of Tim Robinson a little sometimes
