Sucks to lose both Melissa and Alex, especially since the latter was pretty much a go-to cast member for Weekend Update. Feel bad for Aristotle. Guy never had a chance. Glad Melissa can finally get some peace after what seems like a pretty tumultuous experience.
Melissa leaving sucks, but she's been so openly unhappy it's not surprising. Alex will be rough, but at least Mikey is still around Aristotle never stood a chance, feels like he could have taken some of Alex or Mikey's small parts but he never got a chance
Losing Alex really, really sucks. He’s not always the star of the show, but he’s easily been one of the most reliable cast members in its last stretch. Thankfully I think JAJ will be able to fill those shoes to some degree
Wait were Melissa and Alex let go? I assumed Aristotle was (which is a shame, he had a ton of potential) but I figured those two quit Really bummed. Like you guys said it was only a matter of time for Melissa and I'm sad to see her go but happy that she'll get to do something that better utilizes her. Alex is a huge bummer, he was such a great utility player. Even worse is I don't really see him getting any kind of breakout role yet anyway, I hope he gets some great opportunities and doesn't fade into obscurity
I'm honestly pretty excited about Melissa leaving. Have yet to laugh at a single one of her bits. Bummer about Alex and Aristotle though.
