Never listened to LCD Soundsystem before but wow they’re bad.

 

it rules how Mulaney was just like hey we're gonna bring in LCD to promote their residencies I guess, they're gonna play the most random songs

 

My first impression of LCD is that they really like percussion instruments

 

That was excruciating to listen to

 

i just recalled there was a double dare sketch in a recent episode

 

The idea of the DJ just singing the Cupid Shuffle instead of playing it is making laugh in itself

 

Probably favorite episode of the season so far. Super fun all the way through and it was really nice to see Mulaney has still got it. Hope he stays on track

 

My ukrainian buddies all agree. What kinda alternate reality is this where were getting ukrainian choirs cold opening snl

 

Super show, with very few misses, if any at all.

Was not impressed with LCD soundsystem, but thats ok. I listened anyways.

Monologue great
Ukranian CHorus - nice touch
Musical Number - very good - was to be expected. Didnt falter (Was that Conan running across the screen?)
FIve Timers Sketch - perfect (even the flubbed Conan lines)
MOnkey Judge - slight miss, like Caveman Lawyer from Phil Hartman days, but not horrible.
Dog FOod - enjoyed the sketch
PDD - super.
Covid Dinner Table Talk - was just ok - maybe my only 'meh'.
News - short, funny, Che wasnt too bad.
Nick Jr show - cute.
Family band - a miss for me. Was this done before somehow similar? Feels re-used.

 

Only watched the monologue but it was honestly perfect.

 

also apparently there were some cut update guests we should see soon

 

Was Aristotle around much this time? Or Sarah? Andrew got a lot it seems (I Think)

 

Man am I crazy for not loving this episode?

Enjoyed PDD and Conan, but man it felt like every single sketch was just people saying exactly what they're doing as they do it

 

Aristotle was in the background of churro and Sarah was in pdd and nickelodeon

 

monologue was great.

COVID restaurant sketch was one of the worst things I've ever seen.

Family Band is so good.

That type of role is like, my favorite Heidi role. She does the same kinda thing in that weird Texas Roadhouse sketch

 

At least it was a bunch of shitty jokes in one sketch rather than spread out in multiple sketches, I guess

 

The monologue was good last week. I have literally forgotten every other sketch, except the Please Do Not Destroy one. I don't remember anything being outright terrible, but absolutely nothing worth watching either.

 

got here a minute or two before bowen segal, did i miss anything especially funny

 

JAJ's trump impersonation somehow is even better imo
