Mostly forgettable episode. Loved the Dismukes bit on WU though. TicTok sketch had it's moments. Lonely Christmas and the hotel sketch were decent. The only huge miss was the Hip-Hop Nativity one, but it seemed like Heidi was aware of it bombing very quick. Billie's performance was great.
I thought Angelo was actually better this time around, I liked Mikey and Billie in it better and Aristotle was clearly more confident with the character They'll wear it out fast though if they do basically exactly the same thing every time
Pretty solid episode I thought. Dismukes on WU was very good. Kyle's sketch and lonely Christmas I also thought were great. Hotel + Christmas Cards weren't bad either. But everything else was pretty bad The PDD was really good hope they stop cutting those Excited for next week
I feel like Kate coming back is gonna be bad for the newer SNL cast. Kate pretty much took over most of the episode last week, and I don't mind Kate, but I think her schtick personally for me gets old quick. I really like the new cast, and hopefully they don't under-utilize them now that Kate has returned.
Thought she was great this week, but completely agree with you. It was awesome how much the new cast was used the first few episodes and I'm hoping they don't get kicked to the curb
I had a thought that since Kate did the promos with Billie too, maybe she felt she’d feel more comfortable performing with Kate in sketches if she was her favorite cast member, I think I saw a headline earlier today that Billie said she was super nervous to host.
Between Luis drumming for Charli and Turnstile playing Seth Meyers tomorrow, big week for hardcore on NBC
Wonder if they'll make a whole production out of Rudd joining the Five Timers Club. I don't think they've done that since Timberlake
Interesting that they're making Bowen and Kyle Zoom into the talk shows even though they literally film in the same building. Wonder if they increased COVID measures again
