Who are some of the biggest names to never host SNL?

For whatever reason, it's completely tripping me out that Will Smith has never hosted, especially given his ties to NBC for six years.

I don't think Leo ever has either

Could not be more excited for Kyle's show. I think it has ITYSL-esque potential

Kristen Bell, Mindy Kaling, and Keanu Reeves are the other big names on that list that are shocking to have never hosted. But like I'm not surprised in the slightest that Harrison Ford has never hosted SNL lol

Wouldn't be surprised to see Will Smith in December, he's been everywhere promoting this King Richard movie. Would be cool to see

It’s even more wild Bell never hosted considering she was on a critically beloved hit NBC sitcom for four years just recently.

I don’t know how much of a live performer Will Smith is, outside of music. Not that that’s stopped others that aren’t used to the stage, but I think he’s super careful with his image and maybe that isn’t his bag. That’s the only reason I can think of for why he hasn’t hosted.

 

that holds true for the Will Smith of, like, the 2010s, but that dude has been a celebrity for over 30 years now. Fresh Prince premiered in 1990 and ran for 148 episodes on NBC. It's really wild he never hosted in the 90s when he was younger.

 

THat was kind of cute.

 

I bet he hosts for the upcoming movie.
