I've gotta say, going into the first break of the season we're off to a REALLY good start. Even the Kardashian episode was pretty solid. I have a really good feeling about this season

 

snl would have a way better reputation for the last however many years if the bulk of the last decade-plus of these episodes were at least 10% as funny

 

Why is the Sudekis episode so cuckold themed?

I missed that joke. Fantastic.

 

Interesting that there were cut WU bits, that's pretty rare. The Guy Who Bought a Boat character has basically devolved into quick sexual wordplay but it's great and Moffat nails it. Unfortunately the Melissa bit wasn't great

 

... I enjoy both of them, but had a tough time with Melissas bit....

And Alex's character was funny at first, for a few jokes, and then, well..... He does it well. He plays 'smarmy' well.

 

I love any Alex Moffat WU character. I do wonder how much success he'll have whenever he leaves SNL because I've only seen him in sketches. But he's always dependable on the show.

 

In case anyone here has ever wanted to see a bathtub in a bedroom
