SNL won't have a chance to be good until after Lorne dies, and then the odds are low. It really is a cursed institution that's been living on its last legs for decades. That said, waiting patiently for the Jost and Che firing update, one day.
Re: KKW, I’ve said this before but Lorne once in a while will pick a non-performer (athlete, musician, public figure) for the sole challenge of seeing if they can be funny. Sometimes it works, most times no. I’ve seen from a number of current and former cast members say they believe NBC will retire the show after Lorne’s eventual passing.
I don't know any of the new featured players lol. Beck is not who I expected to leave, is he really the only one?
That does suck about Beck. He was one of the strongest of the recent cast. And Lauren was never given anything to do, sadly. Bound to be relegated to the Finesse Mitchells and Luke Nulls of SNL history.
