Hell, in the movie, it's the homeless lady that shows HIM a warm spot to go lol.

THough to be fair, doesn't he kind of befriend her AFTER he's lost access to the hotel and the credit card and all that? the end of the movie obviously was a different story but they were also just trying to end the movie on a funny note at that point lol

 

I love Dua Lipa.

also I know it’s an unpopular opinion but Bowen Yang isn’t funny at all.

I love when they write jokes for each other. Also they both suck as people but weekend update has been consistently funny.

 

I hate this character so much.

 

Katie can still be a carrier especially if she only got the first dose of the vaccine rip dad

 

This episode sucks besides dua and weekend update.

Cold open was okay. Glad an actual cast member is going to play Biden from now on

Really enjoyed the monologue

Secret Word wasn't even that great when Wiig was on the cast lol but it was okay. Made me miss Hader though

Christmas Morning was great lol

I enjoyed the military talent show sketch even if I don't know what it was lol

A Teacher wasn't great. Big night for Dismukes though

Home Alone also wasn't great lol

That Dua Lipa song is still a banger

Weekend Update was great, the joke swapping bit never gets old. That last Johannson joke was killer

Grinch sketch was really not great, which is a shame since it's the most acting Pete has ever done lol

I actually always liked that Wiig character that ruins surprises but it didn't really work this time


Pretty mixed bag of an episode

 

Kristen Wiig’s hosting jobs give credence to my thoughts that her brand of comedy was of a specific era and that time has long since passed.

 

Yeah, I always get really nostalgic for her era because I think it had one of the best casts ever but whenever she comes back I always remember she was one of my least favorite parts of that era lol

 

Oh yeah, for sure. She's very talented, but she dominated the screentime and basically ensured no other female comedians from that era got the chance to break out via SNL.

 

Penelope was her only good character right

not a dig per se, both her and Kate are funny but this show encourages their worst haha

 

quite liked this episode tbh

 

Not having a Piers Morgan joke in the home alone sketch feels like a wasted opportunity

 

Id have to sit and think about it but I loved her in the Californians, and also her Weekend Update thing she did with Fred where they sing the songs was good.
