Yeah the audience was suspiciously quiet on this one, this episode was pretty solid

 

What songs did Bruce play?

 

Just got through tiny horse and I’m not seeing it with this episode so far. The car sketch was fun but have really hated everything else

Sportsmax sketch was definitely a great high note to end it on.

 

The hip hop sketch was okay. Sometimes I dislike how on the nose this show can be but it was fun to see Pete commit harder than he’s probably ever committed before haha

Bruce was Bruce. No complaints there

The rest... I dunno. Pretty terrible. Up there with the worst of the season imo

 

The Dionne Warwick Talk Show and the rap roundtable were two of the better sketches of the season thus far, by a lot. Sportsmax was great too.

The Lexus sketch was literally just a commercial for Lexus, can't really derive any enjoyment out of it when you remember that fact.

 

Decent ep. really wanted Pete to let loose during the sportsmax one like I thought he was going to.

 

Oh yeah in the first song, did Bruce love guitars so much he wrote a song about guitars that needed four guitars to be played

 

Great episode. Tiny Horse was the only sketch I didn’t like but I appreciated its weirdness. Pretty weak WU tho.

 

this was one of the better episodes in a while. Felt like Timothee brought a lot of energy.

 

I agree! I love how much screen time the new cast members got. They don't have the confidence yet to quite carry scenes and a few spots in the episode suffered for it, but they only get better through experience, so let's keep it up!

 

I don't really like any of the new cast members yet

Bowen and Chloe are top tier though

 

I feel like the John Mulaney-looking fella is gonna get the quick Luke Null/Brooks Wheelan exit.

 

Yeah he’s barely been in the show and seems ways less funny than either of them.

 

I have it on good authority that he is very funny, but also very amiable and kind, which can definitely be difficult traits to help you stick out in a 20-person cast

 

Yeah, I feel like in those cases, they should at least get to be able to go the Mike O’Brien/Tim Robinson route and kept on the writing staff.

 

Were Kenen or Aidy in sketches? Walked away thinking 'where were they?'

 

Kenan hasn't been in the last two for unknown reasons and Aidy hasn't been there the whole season because she's filming her show Shrill

Chris Redd hasn't been there much either it seems, and Cecily just got back last week

 

i thought timmy’s neck vein was gonna pop in the jets skit

 

Could there be big changes for next season? Are folks leaving, and the new players we saw this wek, going to be next years characters?

 

I’m surprised Kate is still around

 

I think it’s very possible. Cecily, Aidy, and Kate seem to have one foot out the door. Keenan has been very busy as well. Pete has talked about leaving and seems to have plenty of movie opportunities. Beck and Kyle are both in their 7th season and I wouldn’t be shocked if either of them left. I know that the biggest issue is the writing but I wonder if a huge exodus might breathe some life into the show.
