I really wanted to like that Kyle bit but it never quite got there for me

 

Decent ep, good energy, Bateman was game

 

I love Kyle

 

could watch a gif of pete getting brained w/ a beer can on repeat for eternity

 

certainly not the worst one, wish the whole thing was at least half as good as Stu

 

Can’t wait to see how badly they bungle the dream combination of Timmee and Bruce next week

 

Yeah Stu legit might be an all time great SNL sketch for me but I'm also exactly in the target audience lol

This was actually probably my favorite of the season so far. Still no wall to wall great episodes yet but this one was the closest

 

I think Mulaney and Chappelle are still better episodes but this was pretty good. Jason Bateman needs to host more.

 

I’m wondering why they’re leaning so hard on Christmas sketches when they still have two more episodes before Christmas.

 

The mom's Christmas sketch was good too, I forgot to mention that one

 

they always do this, there are Christmas sketches the whole month of December.

 

country is great and i won't stand for the anti-country bias

but morgan fucking sucks, just like there are plenty of people that suck in literally every other genre

 

When Bowen comes in as Elton John in the Stu sketch it gets me every time lol

 

Stu and the calling the Moms to say they wouldn't be home for christmas were both A+ sketches

 

I must be mega harsh but I didn't think the writing matched the great concept of the stu sketch . Stu sketch was awesome in idea but I didn't really laugh. Its better than the rest of the episode that's for sure

 

I will give Weekend Update a shout out. It felt like a more classic WU because they lessened the politics and spoke more on random headlines throughout the country.

 

I love Jason Bateman so, so much.

 

Bowen and Chloe smashed it this week. I know it fell a little flat in here but Outdoor Cabaret felt like throwback SNL in the best way.

Had to be the best Update of the last year as well. Made me even more excited to get out of the whole “lol the jokes write themselves lol” narrative that comedians have loved to rely on throughout the Trump administration.
