That's so cool that the show transcends generations though! I know my parents watched during the 90s and then gave up around 2000, but I roped them back in in 2010 and I'm very glad I did!

yeah I was also going to say it’s weird they booked Bruce but not for the Christmas show

 

wiig on that date makes more sense because ww84 is out christmas

they actually did that in 2002 when Matt Damon hosted with Bruce as musical guest

 

They almost always have former cast members host the Christmas episodes so if anything it would have made more sense to just switch their musical guests but who knows how the schedules worked out

I haven't had NBC all week due to a contract dispute between my cable carrier and the network so likely going to miss SNL this weekend...which is probably a blessing in disguise tbh.
