This sucked, and if it was the best of the season I'm real glad I skipped the rest They need a complete overhaul of this writing staff, this stuff is pathetic

Episode was fine. A Mulaney isn't gonna be bad. But I'm not sure this offered anything new that previous Mulaney epsiodes didn't do better
I agree they need to get new writers in there but this episode was pretty good. People just love to shit on this show no matter what.
Pretty good episode. Cinema Classics is a personal favorite just because I always laugh at the name “Reese De’What” and Kate’s old timey movie star voice

I enjoyed the Mulaney ep. I think it’s the weakest of his hosting jobs, but still good. And I know it’s been said, but it’s infuriating that Maya Rudolph is getting booked in regular sketches while Melissa, Heidi and the featured players get hosed. Like, how do they have the new guy that looks like John Mulaney not have a sketch with John Mulaney?
She's filming her new show (a musical comedy) in Canada. It was supposed to film months ago so it wasn't supposed to affect her work on SNL but it got postponed for obvious reasons. I'm glad they let her keep her job Aidy has barely been there too because she's filming Shrill
