I havent watched all the episodes on snls website yet. Ive said from the beginning Jim Carreys impersonation of Biden is Carrey -> Clint -> Biden, and Ive seen enough of it. And I <liked> Jim Carrey.... in short doses though. I Liked the Village People. I Liked Adeles monologue. Like the rest, Im looking forward to Mulaney and the Strokes. My girls are anticipating more Bodega Bathroom among other good sketches. I have a feeling it'll be a top notch show. I dont need to see Chad anymore.
My girls want to know when Timothee Chalomet is going to be on the show as host. No, he's not scheduled, but they think he'd be a perfect fit - and would cater to the younger generation. Who else would you want to host/musical guest, that would bring people in (like John Mulaney)
I can't think of anybody that I'd actually want to put through hosting the show right now with the current head writers and the quality of the material they put out lol
Also Ariana Grande is about to drop her new album. I could see her doing double duty as host/musical guest.
You can certainly see Ariana and Pete in a sketch together. People would tune in just for that trainwreck...
He is very funny. Hoping for a good show. I was trying to remember a similar 'cannot wait!' episode when I used to watch way back when in the 90s/00s....
