Great British Bake-Off was alright but I feel like their accents were almost too strong for the audience. I actually found Emily more understandable than Cecily though lol
Definitely the weakest of the season which is a shame because Emily Blunt is a fantastic comedic actress I really hope they bring their A-game for Tom Hanks next week, it's his first time hosting in like 10 years but he always kills it. They don't usually do 4 episodes in a row either
Maybe that's why this week sucked: they're saving their A-game for Hanks. They knew they could phone it in with Emily, but if they fuck with Hanks, he'll ruin their careers and have them blacklisted from the universe.
I felt like there were a lot of just issues this week, like cues being missed and cameras not cutting at the right times, there may be a few of those every week but I felt like it was constantly off from the get go. Laura Parsons was so good tho, was waiting for her to say pussy but that Network joke was perfect
Yes Donald, SNL, the show that let you host an entire episode last season with nothing but sketches that glorified you to a almost unprecedented degree, is part of the vast media conspiracy rigging the election against you.
I actually thought this episode was pretty enjoyable. It was at least much better than last week's episode--the only thing that made me laugh then was the "Day Off" sketch
Stranger Things and Laura Parsons were great. I'm sort of tempted to go back and watch the Trump episode to see what a trainwreck it is, but on the other hand I don't want to subject myself to him except to see him get crushed in the debates
